Dallas Bathtubs uses a copolymer coating that closely mimics the look and feel of porcelain. While other refinishers are using water resistant paint Dallas bathtubs uses factory color water proof coatings that gives the consumer a surface that is virtually indistinguishable from porcelain.
You will find this this surface to not only look great and retain the great look for years to come but to very tough when it comes to chemical and abrasion resistance. In fact it will out last the bathtub paints by literally years.
Through buying in bulk, doing the work myself and keeping my overhead low you can get the quality, great looks and most important longevity of the spray in bathtub liner for about the same price as the bathtub painting other refinishers are using.
Bathtub refinishing should be appreciated as a way to permanently restore surfaces on Dallas bathtubs, tile, showers, sinks and vanities. I have been in several refinishing projects here in Dallas were someone will say "This bathtub was refinished over 14 years ago" It needs to be refinished again. I love when I hear that! It means it was done correct! It means I can treat that surface like it was the original porcelain surface because it was restored correctly. Dallas Bathtubs Prices
That is very rare that it happens I will be honest. In fact off the top of my head it has happened only 3 times in the last few years that I can remember. One Gentleman whose birth year of 1936 was in his email address and he was so easy to talk to lived in University Park here in Dallas. I told him my dad was born in 1932. As I was emailing his receipt and warranty over I explained how my dad had trouble understanding why I sent a receipt over. My dad asked me "don't you shake hands with them and tell them they have a warranty?" Yes sir I do but this is just a reminder because I can't remember all the people through the years. He said oh yes, that's a good idea. However, it goes to show how my fathers generation was so much different. The customer laughed and said that is true. We have lived here in this home since 1961 .. I can remember buying windows in the early 1970's and I paid for them and we shook hands and that was it! He said you reminded me of something else I had forgotten about. We had so carpentry work done in the Late 70's It was a guy and his father that did the work and my wife cooked dinner and they ate with us 2 of the days they were here. It was not even discussed, It was just how it was done back then. Dallas Bathtubs
I know I am getting off topic here but I think this is an interesting story. Dad owned a pretty large wholesale produce house on the Dallas Market back in the 1970's and 1980's He sold to Safeway stores, Dole's Salad, Bud's Salad.... trailer loads at a time and I can remember being a kid ( I was born in 1972 so this must have been 1980) he would buy a load of Lettuce pay cash for it. I can still see the face of "Mr. Bud" that's what I was allowed to call him (And you better say yes sir and no sir and act like a little gentleman too.... was Dad's warning to me when I went to work with him on an occasional Saturday). I can still picture the faces of Mr. Bud and Mr. Marty of Standard Fruit and Vegetables as they would sit in Dads office and pay him for whatever was purchased it was always cash. They would shake hands... nobody short changed anyone PERIOD. All of those buildings are gone now. I took dad down to the Farmers market about a year ago and he said It's all changed ... everything has changed!
